BGI managed the documents that were to enable the project to continue to provide efficient services to the various contractors that were involved in the project.
Project Details
This project is to extend an underground tunnel to Chinatown - San Francisco, CA and place MUNI service by rail. The line to be extended is the T line which runs from 3rd street from Sunnydale to Chinatown. MUNI is the Municipal Railway service of transportation of SFMTA which has 71.5 miles of track. The rail system has 151 LRV (light rail vehicles) on the system and is the third largest in the country. This project is a 1.7 mile undergrounding which will bypass massive amounts of traffic from 4th and Brannon St. to Stockton and Washington streets.
